Q: Can I walk on lawn after seeding?

A: Yes. Avoid heavy traffic and don't have the family picnic on your lawn for the first 30 days but moving around to water and get from point A to point B in your yard is ok. Don't walk on the ground when it is super wet.

Q: When can I resume normal foot traffic?

A: After the first 30 days or so, the grass is full and ready for normal foot traffic

Q: How often do I water?

A: Depends on mother nature!! The point is to keep it damp on a consistent basis. (Not soaked and not dry). Do this for the first 2-3 weeks.

Q: When do I cut back on watering?

A: After the first 2-3 weeks, cut back on watering. Again, pay attention to mother nature. If it is hot, give your lawn a drink or two that day. If it is raining hard, maybe skip watering that day. Avoid burning and over soaking

Q: When do I mow?

A: When the grass reaches 3-4" in height, mow 1/3 of the height off the top.

Q: How fast does the lawn grow?

A: Week 3 or 4 expect to mow more often because this is the point in time that the lawn is growing the fastest. You may mow 2-3 times per week. Shortly after the 4th or 5th week, the lawn will start to have a normal growth rate.

Q: Do I need to fertilize?

A: Yes! During the first year/season you are trying to establish a root system. Fertilize every 30 days with a high nitrogen fertilizer. After the first year/season, fertilize as needed.

Q: Do you charge per square footage?

Yes! We charge per square footage for services.
